About

RACHAEL MUJOTA

Born under Nigerian skies and nurtured by Canadian winters, Rachael Mujota brings a unique blend of cultural perspectives to her storytelling. A Toronto-based writer who believes in the power of stories to bridge worlds, Rachael crafts psychological thrillers that dance on the edge of reality and delusion.

When she's not weaving tales of love and mystery, you might find her exploring Toronto's diverse food scene, reading in hidden cafés, or collecting inspiration from the city's vibrant art galleries. Her Nigerian heritage and Canadian lifestyle infuse her writing with a distinctive voice that challenges readers to see beyond the ordinary.

A self-proclaimed foodie and art enthusiast, Rachael believes that like a well-spiced dish or a carefully composed painting, the best stories should linger in your mind long after you've finished them. This philosophy shines through in her debut psychological thriller, The Time Between Hearts (Coming 2025), the first book in the Heartbreak Hotel series.

Rachael creates stories that blur the lines between reality and fiction, love and obsession, sanity and something altogether more intriguing. With a kettle of tea always within reach and a story always brewing in her mind, she invites readers to join her in exploring the shadowy spaces between what we think we know and what might actually be true.

Her debut novel, The Time Between Hearts, arrives in 2025, promising to take readers on a journey through the mysterious halls of The Heartbreak Hotel, where nothing—and no one—is quite what they seem.
